Creature Comforts: Bringing Animals into Your Fiction

DECEMBER 9, 2017

Fun (and freezing!) day at the Fairfax City Holiday Market in December. Hung out in the Possibilities Publishing tent with Journey to Constellation Station author Lindsay Barry and my publisher Meredith Maslich while meeting local peeps and signing copies of A Hundred Weddings. Even got a suprise hot chocolate delivered by my sweet hubs. This festival included local vendors, live holiday music, hot drinks, gourmet treats, and more.  Can't wait for next year!

JUNE 25, 2017

Had a blast at the Big Band and Books festival in Silver Spring, MD! The literary happy hour promoted music and local authorship at the Daily Dish restaurant. I was honored to read with authors Andrew Gifford, (We All Scream: The Fall of the Giffords Ice Cream Empire) and Cathy Alter (Crush) just before the Rockville Swing Band began and played into the evening.  Even got a nice write-up in the Georgetown Dish!

JUNE 4, 2017

Reading at the Writers Center in Bethesda, Maryland, with Andrew Gifford, author of We All Scream: The Fall of the Giffords Ice Cream Empire.

The launch of A Hundred Weddings  was held at Epicure Cafe in Fairfax, Virginia, on December 16. More details available at my blog, Write Despite.
