Cathy Cruise's short stories have appeared in journals such as American Fiction, Appalachian Heritage, Vestal Review, Pithead Chapel, Phoebe, Michigan Quarterly Review, and others (see "My Work" in the menu above).
Her first novel, A Hundred Weddings, was a finalist for a Next Generation Indie Book Award and a ScreenCraft Cinematic Book prize. She’s also received an American Fiction prize and a Washington Independent Writers Award, as well as a Pushcart nomination. Cathy is co-author of the blog Write Despite with friend and fellow writer Karen Guzman. She has an MFA from George Mason University and works as an editor in Virginia. She is currently writing her second novel.
